ECHOS AND HORIZONS

An international group exhibition from Canada To Melina-Mercouri Hall, Hydra, Greece From June 12th - 19th. More than thirty artworks from thirteen artists coming from international horizons (Greece, Italy, Iran, China, Canada), are making the core of the exhibition «Echoes and Horizons» which will take place at Melina-Mercouri Hall in Hydra, in June. Exchanges of various point of views and knowledge between young and experienced artists, who acted as mentors, contributed first to the construction of the exhibition’s conceptual issue and to a combination of: video, painting, digital prints, textile works and more. This exhibition first presents at the R3 Gallery of the University of Québec in Trois-Rivières (Canada) from May 26th to June 7th.

The exhibition is curated by Lorraine Beaulieu in collaboration with France Joyal, artist and professor at the postgraduate level in the Philosophy and Arts Department of UQTR. The exhibition "Echoes and Horizons" is approaching the artworks as the echoes of the artist’s will to understand and interpret the world. An echo can be the imprint of the past, and what have learned form it to the present and an horizon a projection of our hope for the future.

The exhibition will last from June 12th to 18th every day from 12h to 15h and 18h30 to 22h30.
